Can someone tell me the best way to clean a spraygun after epoxy primer, I've tried paint thinner, acetone, gasoline, you name it I tried it with varying results. Nothing seems to do a good job. Plus, how often do you have to completely tear gun down to clean? Thanks Mike

iv'e been spraying epoxy primers for a couple years now commercially. On average 20-40 gallons a week. I think the key is getting on it as soon as you are done with the product. I usually run mine through a gun wash and then pour a couple of oz. of fresh laquer thinner in and run through the gun ( with no pressure ) If you keep that up you should only have to tear down once a week or i guess it would just depend on usage.

Try using a urethane reducer. works every time for me. let me know how it works for you?
