home made console

hi all....im lookin to make a center console for my 56...anyone hv any ideas?..like what to use??..or anyone done one or close to it??..yks

Well you can use plywood and fiberglass over it, or cut it out of Styrofoam and fiberglass over it. You can also use 3003-H14 X .050 aluminum and form it and either paint, polish, or powder coat it!

do a search on www.hybridz.org There are a few guys who have made their own from scratch for Z cars over there. It should give you an idea. search 'custom dashboard' or something to that effect.
