Default Can rust converter be used on exhaust pipes?

What is the high temperature tolerance of rust converter. I have exhaust pipes that are solid but with surface rust. After I wire wheel them off, can rust converter be applied before I coat them with high temperature paint? What is the best way to treat these pipes? Thanks.

    Thanks for the inquiry!

The Rust Converter can be used on exhaust, it creates more of a chemical reaction, rather than being a coating. It simply converts the rust to a inert surface that is ok to paint. So long as your high temp paint is applied correctly, there shouldn't be a issue. HTH!
