    Wet Sanding

Love your work big fan. My wife scraped the right rear quarterpanel against the garage opening, grinding white latex paint down to the base paint. I didn't want to be too aggressive so I was wondering if I should wet sand first to see just what I'm dealing with.
Any advise for what I should do?

first Id use a rubbing compound to "roll" the latex paint off the car paint. sometimes WD40 can move the paint, or even the citrus based "Goof off" works well in thiscase. You're exactly right in wanting to see what's under the offending paint and determin what needs to happen next. let us knowwhat you find.

    Thanks!
