Check out Ted's fabrication. Not sure if he does gas fired, but it's a good place to start looking.

I think I have outgrown my oven and am looking to get a bigger one. My oven now is 6x4x4 and I have been having to turn away work because it wont fit. Local custom offroad shop wants me to do all their work but most of the stuff is huge. Any suggestions on just how big I should go with this next step and where to get an oven. Should I think of going with a gas oven. Also needing advice on upgrading from eastwood pro gun. Its time to grow but feeling a little overwhelmed with these decisions.

Brian, you might want to give these guys a call. They're here in Okla. and can hook you up with just about anything you need. I know they service this part of the country. I think the smallest gas fired unit they can do is 8'x8'x10'. But they do have full tech support, on site training and will customize your system pretty much any way you want it.

Get your gun upgrade from PBtP - hard to beat them on guns.
Good luck.

Hey CPC funny thing is i found that exact website today while browsing. They build an 8'x8'x8' but 10' would be even better. I like the fact that they have the training also. I'm just thinking the gas fired oven would save me some money in the long run. Which gun from PBtP are you talking about?
Any of you guys that have gas fired ovens please chime in with info
A gas fired oven would run cheaper than electric in this part of the world. Consider that most utlities around here use gas to generate electricity, so why pay the electric company to burn the same fuel source you can burn?
I bought the Wagner C4 Box feed. It was about $600 cheaper than Spray Tech.
I don't have a gas oven, but I spent the better part of the summer of 07 using one. They heat up faster and seem to produce more even distribution of the heat. Of course, that's mostly due to the large volume of air moving thru them. You could duplicate the same thing in an electric oven, but you'd be way oversizing the KW to account for the extra air flow - not very practical from an operating standpoint.

sprayboothsupplies.com has a promotional price on some ovens until the end of the year. Looks like I'll be ordering from them. Also thinking about getting the wagner prima box feed.
The 8x8x20 oven/8x10x20 booth combo for $33.5 large is a good price........... Normally, the oven alone, that size will run you more. But that price is for a 3 phase system. Do you have that now, or can you get it for less than say, $3000 more? The single phase version is an "option", probably an 'up-price' option. This is also a "some assembly required" package. Can you set it up, plumb it, wire it and make it work on your own? Another $10k if you can't, and if you're lucky. Plus the freight thing. I can't tell where these guys are, but if they're any distance at all from Lufkin, you're gonna spend a good pile of coin on shipping. Not knocking this company or your choice - it's your money - your life. But the better informed you are, the better armed you are.
The gun on the other hand is another story. I bought the same exact gun from PBtP for considerably less than $4200. Plus, if they still have the same deal going, you can spread the payout over 90 days interest free. Call them to check.
Good luck either way.

the promotional price for the combo is $28,750 until the end of the year. shipping is from alabama for $1580. I have some guys here who are going to install everything. I've been doing alot of pricing on these ovens and I think this price will be hard to beat.
forgot to mention that your right about the gun being cheaper at pbtp and that is where I will be purchasing it from. Do you like the gun?
