    Cool Truck Bed Sanding

What's the best way to sand a pickup bed's slots?? Is there a tool that gets into the slots better than holding a full sheet of sandpaper? I want to get it ready for a "Rhino Liner" type liner, and I have lots of chunks of old dried paint that needs to be removed. I don't want to strip it with chemcials as yet, it is way to messy, and I don't want any run off to hurt the paint under the bed.

    Thanks,

    Doc

    Default Truck Bed Liner Prep

I would use a (31095) 5” Cleaning Disc mounted on a (13064) Mandrel in your electric drill. As a matter of fact I think you’ll be able to make good use of (31418) set of 3 Cleaning Discs with Mandrel.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the scratches (similar to 80 grit) that the cleaning disc leaves on the surface because the bedliner should easily cover it.
