Default Paint Gun tip sizes with Auto Air Paints

I was wondering if anyone has sprayed Auto air paints with a 1.4MM tip in their spray guns? I want to try these paints, but I see that they recommend 1.0-1.2MM tips. Do you think it will have adverse effects to use a 1.4MM tip? I'm not sure I can get a smaller tip for my gun.

    Thanks.

I can personally say that you need a smaller tip size , Auto Air tends to be a little lose . If you try to spray with a 1.4 tip you may very well drip it at which point you can start over . Just get the tip and do it right , depending on what kind of gun youre using the tip is probably not that expensive.
