    Default fiberglass spider web repair

I'm going to do a total refinish of my 88 vett. The problem is getting rid of spider webbing and the micro slits all over the body in the glass so it will not resurface after painting.any other tips to get a great looking paint job would be appreciated.

Unfortunatly the craking and spider webbing you are seeing is actually in the surface of the fiberglass. It will require a complete strip of all the original finish, the cracks will need to be ground open, filled then a new gel coat will need to be applied. The gel coat gets block sanded before the primer, base and clear goes on.
I suggest obtaining several videos and books on fiberglass refinishing from one of the many excellent Corvette vendors.
