    Default My Customized 37 WildRod Project

    After 4 years of construction time my Project which I named "leilani" is complete, 98 LS1 Engine, Headlight mounts removed, 98 Taurus healights molded to engine side panels, marker lights molded to side fenders, Turn signals molded to front fenders, LED flush mount tailights, 3rd Brake light molded to removable top, Vision outside rearview mirrors molded to doors, inside rearview mirror molded to windshield header, interior seat surround, console, and extended dash, fabricated from molded fiberglass, Hibiscus flower encased in seat surround, all controls hidden in various compartments located in seat surround, dash, and console. Engine surround fabricated of Fiberglass and steel, ART air ride system, 10 dsc CD player, remote doors, power trunk, windows, CD player. Upholstery is Ultra Leather and berber carpet. Large hibiscus Flower in Trunk floor, gas fill located in trunk. This Project was named in Honor of my Daughter Dana Lelani, 23, who passed away from Cancer, and her favorite Flower was the Hibiscus, I hope you like the car.

    welcome to the forum bro. let me just say i am in awe. that is the most inspired ride i have seen in years. you have built a car that will be a focal point for your daughters memory. you should be very proud. thanks for the post.
    when in doubt polish it out. why replace it when you can refinish it.

    That is one awesome car!!!! All the little subtle things really set it off.

    Congrats on the culmination of all your hard work!


    edit: Just noticed you are in Lawrenceville, which shows do plan on bringing it to? There is a big one in Loganville on the first saturday of the month starting in spring. Can't wait to see it in person!

    2003z I will be attending Loganvilles show when it starts, I attend Goodguy, NSRA, and Kustoms of America shows also, I have a 62 Fully customized "T" Bird that I run around in and attended Goodguys in Charlotte while in Primer, maybe we crossed paths.

    Holy cow! I go to Lawrenceville for work a lot. Actually, I just got home (Florida) about an hour ago after being there all week.


    Sorry for the thread hijack. I'd love to meet up some time and maybe learn a few things!
