Peter, Thanks so much for the polishes. Excuse the poor photography, the right thank was polished with the Eastwood polish, the left side with McGuirrers (sp) Ive always been a McGuires man. I asked my wife to come out to the shop and pick the best side and she picked the Eastwood side, I thought...
I am restoring a 56 Olds and when I purchased it the rear window had a thousand fine scratches and 75 scratches you could catch your finger nail on. Finding out that the glass was obsolete sent me on a several month search for a good replacement with no luck. I purchased the Eastwood glass scratch...
Does anyone know how long it typically takes for a review to make it on the eastwood site? I submitted a very negative review of the gas tank sealant about a week ago, and it has not been posted.
Mine broke on the second use. Hmmm
Used the Hotcoat system and it worked perfectly. Used it on parts for my Camaro and they come out looking GREAT! This system is so easy to use and very little waste or cleanup. Just followed the instructions with the kit and had no problems at all.
I purchased some of this prodcut thinking, it's really not gonna work but what the heck I'll try. It went on very easy. I did use rubber gloves as a precaution and a tooth brush for those hard to get at spots. All I can say is it's perfect. My neighbor came over to check my progress on "CHERRY"...
Here is my first venture into using a silver base with clear powder over it. These springs really turned out great. Hard to believe I can do this at home with Eastwood kit and powder.
What's up with the different shaped/style tips? When and why would I, should I change them to a different on??? Sorry I resubmitte this on the actual powder coat page.
Hi all First time on here, looks like an informative forum. Sorry if this is posted in wrong location. I have a question on the shrinker/stretcher that is on sale now at EW. I have done very little metal work but starting a new project that will require me to feb pieces around the front windshield...
This Combo Kit is one of the BEST tool-sets I own...and I own a LOT of tools. As an avid Street Rodder and overall Hot Rodder & Blue Oval MadMan this toolset is going to save countless hours on my current project...a 1956 Ford F100 pickup truck. I purchased my '56 Effie with the entire...
I have been playing with the new Dual Voltage system and while I was not expecting much, I was quite surprised by its performance. It seems to lay down first and seconds coats with out issue. Operates at a much lower PSI than my Caswell gun and is equivalent to or actually exceeds the performance...
I'm new here and thinking about trying to start a small business in powder coating. I haven't bought any tools yet. I'm in the research stage. I was thinking about a cheap gun ( I have found a craftsman gun for under $50.00). You don't even need a compressor with it. Will it do for a starter,...
:) This stuff works great i sprayed my hood an the next weekend i wet sanded it with no problem!
Tool is made is China, but it seems durable. Seems like the only wear item on the tool is the polyurethane roller that makes contact with the fender. Then again, any tool can be destroyed if used improperly. I bought this several weeks ago to roll the rear fenders on my Subaru WRX & Nissan...
I purchased the Concours spray gun awhile back and found it to well made, easy to use and comfortable in the hand. I used it to paint the fenders & gas tank on my Sportster and the results were great. It also worked very well with my small air compressor as stated in the advertisement. I think...
Man this stuff works well. If everything that comes out of aerosol cans sprayed this well, I'd hang up my HVLP!
was looking to see some feed back on the chassis black paints. like durability and stuff. thanks
