  20. Can rust converter be used on exhaust pipes?

    What is the high temperature tolerance of rust converter. I have exhaust pipes that are solid but with surface rust. After I wire wheel them off, can rust converter be applied before I coat them with high temperature paint? What is the best way to treat these pipes? Thanks.
