What are the pros and cons of each type? Is metal filler stronger and waterproof but harder to sand?

I am getting ready to get my car painted. In order to cut costs, I plan to do the body work myself. After I do my body work (straightened, filled, sanded and primed,) what can I use as a protective weather coat until I get the car into the paint shop? I have to do a few panels and I plan on...
My wife and I bought an '05 Chrysler Pacifica in Spring. We both really enjoy the car except I noticed the plastic that is at the base of the windshield around the wipers is faded. Also the same type of plastic is on the front grill, and is also faded. I havn't tried anything to remedy the problem...

I have a '71 Charger that needs full front floors. Have seen floors replaced in magazines without jig or rotisserie. Noticed door bracing but nowhere else. Is this possible without the jig or rotisserie. If so, where are other braces? Would rather spend money on other parts of car rather than one...
Hi I need to patch the lower cab corners on my extended cab pickup. I have the repair panels, and now I am wondering how to flange the curved edge around to the back of the cab. Any help is appreciated.

Anyone know of a source for a good quality 2-part bed-liner that comes in a stock color of dark gray? I know I can tint something, but I'd rather have an off-the-shelf solution. The only thing I've found is something from Morton, but it seems to be their lower end offering that isn't quite as...
